Hey guys just helping a client with rehoming a pup. This was her mom's pup and her mom passed away that is reason for rehoming.
Here’s the adoption background on TeAmo.
TeAmo (tay-ammo), Spanish for “I love you”
Female
Chihuahua/Cairin Terrier
6 years old
About 7 pounds
Cream and tan color
PV rescue pup (owner passed; daughter (me/ Vickie) has her.
Up-to date on vaccines.
Recently suffered a UTI with dozens of bladder cysts. These are all gone, but she must be on prescription diet for her lifetime.
Chipped and spayed.
House-trained. If it’s really cold, she’s consistent with puppy-pad use
Rarely barks ( she’s been barking since I took her back). I’m working on this.
Considered hypoallergenic; sheds very little, and does not require brushing.
Accustomed to being bathed in sink (she sits still).
Excellent on a leash
Friendly with strangers (during walks she will “ask” everyone to say hello and pet her)
Terrific with adults and children. Don’t recommend really young kids because if she doesn’t like what you are doing to her, she can snap.
She loves car rides. She sits still in the front or back seat, and usually naps.
Will stay under table at restaurants and quietly sit or sleep. Will nap while you’re visiting another home. I even brought her with me for a 90 minute massage, and she quietly sat on her blanket in the corner the entire time.
She loves her people, and she is extremely affectionate. Expects to sleep with her family. She will follow her loved ones everywhere. Likes to join you on your chair, and wants her dog bed as close to where you are as possible.
Super playful, and especially enjoys chasing ping pong and tennis balls.
Likes to pay with her toys.
Accustomed to being an only dog. But, will slowly develop relationships with other dogs when provided with experienced human supervision.
Currently chased cats for fun. She makes such a ruckus that she scares my dog-savvy cat. She’s lived with a cat before, and knows better. We are working on this too.
Cries if left at home alone. Even when I leave, she is panicked, and she has all my pups at home with her.
Located in Edmonton
Prospective new families will be fully vetted to ensure s good fit, and that she is loved and safe.
