We’re proud to shine a spotlight on Peace River Veterinary Services! 🩺💚

This mixed animal team of veterinarians, RVTs, VTAs, and VMRs provides compassionate care for bovine, equine, feline, and canine patients while proudly serving the Peace River community.

Their teamwork and dedication reach beyond the clinic walls. From hosting Pet First Aid classes to volunteering their time to care for an injured stray pup, they embody the heart of veterinary medicine in Alberta.

ABVTA’s Manager of Member Services and Communications, Janelle Dublanko, and our Events and Member Services Coordinator, Michelle Welch, attended the Edmonton Catholic School Board Career and Bridging Fair in late November. 🚀

The fair brought together more than 1,000 students, educators, and parents from across the region. Throughout the day, our team shared information about the RVT profession, the pathway to becoming an RVT, and the wide range of career opportunities available within the field.

The event offered a meaningful opportunity to build awareness of the RVT profession and inspire future veterinary professionals. Thank you to the Edmonton Catholic School Board for hosting and for inviting us to take part.

RVTs are not limited to clinical settings. They play essential roles in wildlife rehabilitation, zoos, educational institutions, research facilities, pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, feedlot operations, ranching and dairy production, humane societies, law enforcement, government services, equine training facilities, and so much more.
