Alfio must have no outside access (including no time on a harness outdoors or in a catio).
Alfio enjoys his cuddles and he can also get overstimulated at times and is looking for an experienced and cat savvy forever family who understands how to read cat behaviour, knows how to respect his space, and will allow him time to relax when he needs it.

Pearl is one of our sweethearts currently residing in our The Kitchen Magpie sponsored room at our shelter - she is so grateful to The Kitchen Magpie for providing the funds to cover her care while she waits for her forever family! This beauty queen is an excellent supervisor, she loves being involved in the action, and she is starting to enjoy receiving a few pets too. Pearl is 8 months old, she is looking for a forever home with no children and no dogs, and she must have another similarly aged high energy kitty as a playmate. Pearl needs a cat savvy forever family who understands how to train her to play gentle as she can be rough during playtime with humans. She is also looking for a forever family who understands how to read cat behaviour and knows how to respect her space as Pearl likes a balance of time with people and time by herself and will let people know when she wants to have her space respected.

SAFE Team alum, Lily (formerly known as Freya), was adopted 1 year ago! Happy Adoptaversary to this sweetheart and her forever family! Here is a lovely note from her forever family:
“She has been such a joy this past year. She is very much a velcro cat, always next to me.

She is a big help with the laundry, she helps me at work every day, she makes sure to get enough sleep, she loves playing with her toys, and she was very involved when we were packing to move.

She is such a little love. This past year has been the best year.”
