Finest organics in the world Origin Organic Farms Inc. (formally known as South Alder Greenhouses Ltd.) was established in 1998.

The vision was to produce the highest quality products through innovative technology and growing methods with sound biological controls. OriginO’s official organic certification and production process began in 2005 with 1 acre. The challenge for achieving sustainable organic greenhouse production was met by an intensive research and development program led by a team of highly dedicated scientists

and engineers. As a result of its vision, innovation and achievement, OriginO has been expanded from 1 acre to 33 acres and in just 3 years. The company has since grown to be world-class leaders in organic production and the benchmark for organic greenhouse production. Today, OriginO employs over 150 employees and is able to produce over 15 million pounds of certified organic tomatoes, and cucumbers. OriginO continues to expand it production capacity using such organic techniques as companion planting and inter-cropping to produce select herbs as well as niche and heirloom varieties of greenhouse vegetables.
