Our tree features dried hydrangeas from the Earthwise Garden, handmade pottery mushrooms donated by a Garden Buddy, and clove-orange pomanders made at our recent Garden Buddies meetup. You can vote by donating non-perishable food items or new toys at Guest Services to receive voting tickets. Voting is open until December 23.

This week’s Garden Buddies session was extra festive! Held in the Red Barn (thank you to Southlands Grange Centre for Farming & Food for providing us with the space!), we spent the morning making beeswax candles and creating festive swags and arrangements using foliage brought by our buddies and harvested from the Earthwise Garden.

The creativity was incredible, the room smelled amazing, and the holiday spirit was definitely in the air. ❤️🌲🕯️

Our team is hard at work building a fresh, modernized Earthwise experience that will make it easier than ever to connect with us and explore what we offer. This week’s Garden Buddies session was all about creativity. We made beautiful pressed flower pumpkins. A big thank you to Garden Buddy Mentor Sharon for leading the activity, sharing her amazing collection of pressed flowers and leaves, and showing us how to use the microwave to press our own! 🌸🎃

We also took a walk through the garden, played a round of trivia, and ended the day with a potluck lunch. It was the perfect way to celebrate the beauty of the season together!
