COMING SOON!
Blushing Pinks Jelly - a beautiful, romantic pink chilli with a hint of citrus. As like all of our jams and jellies, the flowers are organically grown and sweetened with organic cane sugar. This is one of my favorites! The colour is absolutely beautiful and the flavour is amazing. This is a limited supply – made in small batches. It will be ready for the weekend at this Saturday makers market at 1300 Comox Rd. - the Comox Bay Farm – Ducks Unlimited.

A little late posting the winner of my “floral jelly” Door Prize from Saturday’s market.

We will continue to be there each Saturday until the end of summer and I will have a draw every Saturday.

The lucky winner of lat Saturday was Carla.

Thank you everybody who entered and who stopped by my table. Hope to see you next Saturday.

Carla I will give you a call to arrange for pick up of your prize.

I did a complete full dress rehearsal today and set up my entire booth, to try to keep it a smooth set up tomorrow.🥵 I think it all turned out really well. The banner looks great. The posterboard looks great! I’m hoping for a super busy day so if any of you are out and about tomorrow, and you see us down there at the Comox Bay Farm, a.k.a., Ducks Unlimited, and for the long time
Comox Valley folks - the old Farquharson Farm, pop in and have a look around. We will be set up there every Saturday until the end of summer. My farm stand will still be open and available to those who don’t come by the market. I hope everyone has a great weekend! See you down at the market.

UPDATE: one of the babies fled the nest today. It was so much fun watching it run all over the garden and the Dad white crowned sparrow chasing all after it all over the place. I laughed and said dad’s gonna be tired now, and it’s almost like you could hear the little baby going come and find me dad come and find me! Wait till the other two flee the nest as well 😆 It’s been fascinating to watch them today. But I guess that Gardens off limits now for at least a week while they learn too forage, fly and survive on their own. Good thing I gave it a good watering last night. I have placed out a trail of water with little stones in it for the fledgelings to drink safely and not fall in. I have posted photos in the comment section below, just before one of them fled the nest, you can see that their feathers are starting to show the markings and that they are ready to escape the nest and go out into the big wide world 💕

It’s not the best video, but I just found two little baby birds inside my rambling rosebush. The branches are very tightly woven and full of thorns so I couldn’t get in there very well without really upsetting The Mamma. I just wanted to share it with you all as a reminder of how special and beautiful it is when we live amongst nature. 🥰

Dad and I had a lovely evening, we went to the Rove food truck on the D**e and had a wonderful meal and delicious milkshake, and I mean… you can’t beat that view! While we were there, a guy came up with a bicycle and a bird on his shoulder so he let Dad have the Bird on his shoulder too, Dad was absolutely thrilled! After supper, we decided to stop at the Rhododendron garden down at the air park and have a walk around there and the flowers were in full bloom. Absolutely gorgeous! We are so so lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
