🌿 Our Final Wild Plant Walk of 2026! 🌲

Just because the growing season is winding down doesn’t mean there’s nothing left to discover!

Many of our common wild plants can be found growing around us almost all year long. We’ll be revisiting some of the usual suspects, learning how to identify them, and exploring their traditional uses for food and medicine.

But this time of year, the evergreens really shine! 🌲

For our final Plant Walk of the year, we’ll be adding evergreens to our exploration and learning how to identify them, which ones are suitable for use, and how to incorporate them into our food, herbal teas, and everyday lives.

And as a little bonus, everyone who books this walk will sample a little taste of my favourite evergreen tea, and will also receive my **Evergreen Shortbread recipe!**🌲 A delicious way to bring a little taste of the forest into your kitchen and perfect for the Holiday Season!

🌿 The Greenhouse Is Finally Going Up! 👏

We bought this greenhouse back in March, and with everything else we’ve had going on this year, getting it built was not our main priority.

Now that Mike is home full-time, and we have both settled in to our new normal, the last couple of weeks has been all about the greenhouse.

He had to take a little break because of high winds. Not exactly ideal weather for installing roof panels! 😂 But we’re making progress, and I have to say, it’s looking pretty darn good!

Once it’s finished, I’ll have the fun job of figuring out where everything is going to go, planning out the growing spaces, and setting up my little workshop classroom at the back.

There’s still lots to do before it’s ready, but I can already picture how it’s all going to come together.

I’m so freaking excited! 😁🌱
