Premium for DSG1 in Coquitlam, August 23rd 2026 is now available and going to open in a few days! We will be hosting this in small groups so you can come and enjoy for around an hour and beat the possible heat!

You can start at this level, or come back to finish a title or title again working towards your Jr, Sr and Expert levels!

What a crazy few weeks, so thankful to be welcomed to teach seminars in Terrace, BC with Kermode K9 Sports Club. Followed by off to Kamloops last weekend to teach another set of seminars with Northern Noses Pet Services. Packing up today off to Nova Scotia tomorrow for my next seminar instruction gig with Basics & Beyond Canine Skills! Pictured is my Terrace & Kamloops sets in April, thank you for all the hosts being so good to me and making this a thing! Thank you as well to all the great people that have come out to learn or participate. So many new friends! Excited for the next!

What a weekend! We hosted a doubleheader, two different Canadian Detection Sport Association trials, two locations (DS1 in Port Moody & DS3 on Burnaby), and two days! Such a great turnout despite the snow forecast. We only got snow while we were at our locations but not on the way in or out! The snow added a fun layer to exteriors!

All teams did so well, and as always, we have a lot of thank you’s owed to a lot of people that make this all possible.

First off, Fashion Biz Wholesale in Burnaby, having businesses in the community that support these events is amazing. Please go check them out if you or your company is in the market for great clothing! They are always so accommodating to us.

Thank you to our judges for being not only outstanding professionals as always but also great sports with the snow: Allison Maxwell, Brenda Cox , and Lia Bijsterveld

We got to give away more cool swag; thank you to Fashion Biz for helping us with that! If you see one of our dark grey logo’d CDSA jackets around, they helped us set those up!

Thank you so, so much to all the volunteers. These events don’t run without people like you helping out. You are the lifeblood of any dog sport event and very appreciated.

Thank you to everyone that came out to participate as a team. When you are supporting Coastal Canine’s trials or CDSA, you are supporting two Canadian women-run organizations. What a great first weekend of December! We hosted a DS2 trial the previous Sunday at Windsor Plywood Coquitlam, BC. Such a great turnout and what a great location to search. All teams did so well and as always we have a lot of thank you’s owed to a lot of people that make this all possible.

First off Windsor Plywood Coquitlam, having businesses in the community that support these events is amazing.
Windsor Plywood loves dogs so much they chose again to donate their whole rent fee for this event to the Coquitlam Animal Shelter
All of our participants were in particular awe of their doors, raw wood edged shelving & fixture selections! Please go check them out and support local! Their staff couldn’t be more welcoming and accommodating to us.

Thank you to our Officials, Megan Brooking for judging and Allison Maxwell for being a wonderful Search Official for another great trial in the books with nice pass rates.
