Hello everyone and Happy Hump Day!

Over the last few weeks we've had many new followers subscribe to our FB page; Thank You for subscribing to our page and supporting your local farmers.

We offer only FRESH local produce including many varieties of microgreens and four different varieties of hydroponic lettuce. All locally grown right here in C.B.S. and delivered every Saturday including C.B.S., St. John's, Paradise, and Mt. Pearl with no delivery fees with a minimum $10 order. Our mission is to provide the freshest food possible with least barriers year round.

In a complicated world we like to keep things as simple as possible and that includes ordering from Rockland Microgreens. Each week on Wednesday we do a little blurb and any important messages that we may have along with some pictures of the produce we grow and of our course our weekly menu which is also pinned on our FB page.

Ordering from us is as easy as 1, 2, 3...

✅ Choose the items you'd like to have with your order from our menu.
✅ Sends us a private message through our page of what you'd like to have and if you have any questions we'd be glade to answer them for you.

Don't forget...

With all of this beautiful weather we're having we're all outside enjoying it much as possible because we ALL know just how bad our winters can get. And we don't need to be reminded of just this past winter... Brrrr 🌬️

So if you're out around this Saturday whether it's doing yard work, tending to your garden, out running errands, or just having a day at the park before you head out be sure to place a cooler by your doorstep so that when we come by with your order we have a place to put it and keep FRESH and crisp for when you return. And so that you know we'll send a message when we delivered your order.

This date six years ago we opened our virtual FB doors to the world (or at least Conception Bay South and area) to what have to offer. At the time we had just three trays of microgreens, a dream, and a ton of ambition.

We didn't know exactly what we were doing but we just knew it was something that we needed to do, even if it didn't last, but we did not want to not do it because then we'd look back and question: 'What if we did move forward with our dream?' When life hands you an opportunity grab a hold of it and don't let go because life don't send you the same opportunity twice.

Along the way to where we are today, we've met a ton of great people, gained a whole lot of business experience, and have grown physically, mentally, and spiritually, and our little hustle has grown tremendously in just six short years. We service awesome people in C.B.S., St. John's, Paradise, and Mt Pearl, we've even had some folks outside of the Avalon come for our microgreens and lettuce. Our microgreens and lettuce are and have been in some of the finest restaurants around the city and even in some of the local food competitions that happen annually.

We are truly grateful and blessed to be able to do what we love doing for the great people of Newfoundland and best of all we're only getting started.

We do have our down days but to remind us why we started this venture we always turn to our Mission Statement which reminds us exactly why we started down this path.

This week only our romaine lettuce is 50% off!!! 😲

Yes, you read that correctly, our romaine for this week only is just $2.50 per head. Hydroponics can be a little tricky at times and even with a few years experience some things do go the way not intended which is what happened to us. The ph was out of balance and caused our romaine to grow a little wacky. It still has that great FRESH flavor just not the usual form that we like to see. Our mishap is your benefit. :)

Just how FRESH is our lettuce?

Our lettuce is so FRESH... it got pulled over for going so fast from the farm to your door step and told the officer 'I'm organic, this chlorophyll don't stop.' But be warned when putting it in the refrigerator, it'll make the tomatoes blush redder and go from Roma to 'Roma-nce me', and the ranch dressing will be simping in the corner, and from the cupboard you can hear the croutons forming a fan club chanting 'CRUNCH GANG'.

Our lettuce don't expire - it ascends! 💫

Because we don't use any harmful chemicals to keep pests away in our greenhouse be sure to give your lettuce a light wash, just the same as any produce that you would buy at the grocery store. It's just good practice!
