Wolf sightings - Vancouver Island folks - there have been a few wolves seen chasing dogs near sook - CBC News reports that
“If you do encounter a wolf with your dog, the best thing to do is just stay still, remain calm, and make lots of noise. More often than not, a wolf is going to lose interest in not being able to elicit that flight response, and they'll likely retreat."

We took our dogs out for our first ever Halloween street party in ! Check out how we handle real-life distractions with our dogs and keep the focus sharp—even with all the action happening around us. Training like this helps dogs feel calm and confident in busy environments, no matter the season. Amid costumes, candy, and crowds, Slim worked on his focus and obedience in a super fun (and spooky!) environment. He even got a few extra Scooby snacks along the way. Good boy Slimmy!
