Meet our Pet of the Week, Dale, a 2-year-old cat with a talent for finding the perfect hiding spot and an appreciation for life's quieter moments. While he may keep a low profile at first, Dale can become friendly and confident once he feels safe and settled.

This independent guy is looking for a calm home with plenty of cozy hideaways, patient people, and a reliable snack supply. He could live with another cat following proper introductions and would do best with teens 13+ who understand that trust takes time.

If you're looking for a gentle companion who prefers meaningful connections over the spotlight, Dale might just be your guy.

HAPPY TAILS - Jackson (Jackie) now Aspen

Jackie (now named Aspen) is doing great and adjusting well to her new home. She has become very attached to us and has opened up and is showing her true puppy colours!

She is very sweet and playful and no longer is as shy and timid. She loves making her baby sister laugh by running around the yard and house when she gets the zoomies. She doesn't like being left alone and wants to always be by our sides. She also loves sleeping with her sister and keeps a close eye on her (except when she’s really tired out and is sleeping on her back).

Thank you for choosing us to welcome Aspen into our family.

This weekend, we’ve been rallying our community together in support of pets in South Georgian Bay at Walk for Pets.

For the pets on Team Second Chance, they know every act of support matters.

It helps make sure they have what they need while they wait for families of their own, from daily care and medical support to enrichment, comfort, and the simple feeling of being seen and loved by the people around them.

Every registration, donation, and team started helps provide that care today, while they wait for home tomorrow.

Can’t attend Walk for Pets this year? You can still be part of Team Second Chance by making a donation, joining the team, or starting your own team using code TEAMUP.

Because support can reach them, even if they can’t be there.

Support. Donate. Register. gths.ca
