Spending our day learning about skin and coat health for your pets. This is an intensive 6 hour class packed full of information.

We are passionate about keeping our education current to make sure your pet get the best care possible. All of our staff is here today but the salon is closed until tomorrow morning.

These will include

Nail clip $20
Nail clip and file $25
Or full pawdawan trim which includes nail trim, file and paw trim. $35

Okay, how cool is this? I’m thrilled to shine a light on The Bark Side Grooming Salon, a brand new storefront on Waverly Road in Clarington — but don’t be fooled, this biz is far from new. After 7 years of grooming from home, they’ve officially opened their doors and it’s a total glow-up! ✨

What makes them extra special? Well, the owner, Marcia Strong, is a competitive dog groomer (yes, that’s a thing — and yes, she’s amazing). She’s currently ranked #6 in all of Canada and is one of the very few legally certified master groomers in the country. That’s huge, especially in an unregulated industry where certification is totally voluntary.

She’s groomed pups for movies and TV, been internationally published, and built an awesome following under the name “I Like Dogs More Than You” — which has taken her around the world to teach grooming. Talk about talent, passion, and commitment all in one!
