To our wonderful clients and their pups,
We want to start by saying thank you for supporting our small business and trusting us with your pets. Your loyalty means everything to us, and we love being a part of your dog’s care and routine.

As our salon continues to grow, so do the costs of maintaining the high-quality products, tools, and safety standards your pets deserve. In order to keep providing the luxury, one-on-one grooming experience you expect, we will be implementing a small price increase, effective May 1st.

We’ve kept this adjustment as minimal as possible, and it allows us to continue offering:

✨ Nail Trim Fundraiser for Fire Relief ✨

Next week, from Monday to Thursday, all proceeds from our nail trims will be donated to the fire relief efforts for downtown Bowmanville. We encourage you to spread the word to friends and family so we can raise as much support as possible!

Puppy intro's and First haircuts:

We've been getting the question alot!
"When should I bring my new puppy for its first grooming appointment?"
Well,
We recommend getting your new puppy in soon after they have had their first round of vaccinations, roughly around the 3month mark. We start with an intro, which helps get them used to the bathing and drying process (those high velocity dryers are scary! 😨) Followed by brushing, nails clipped, pads shaved, paws rounded, eyes cleared of hair and ears cleaned (if needed)

It is then recommended you schedule your next visit 4-5weeks after the intro to get a full haircut. At this point your puppy will have an idea of what to expect and it won't be as scary. We then recommend getting a schedule of 6-8weeks between appointments. This helps ensure positive experiences so that grooming can be something they look forward too! With the reward of feeling clean and fresh!🐕 Followed by a happy dance and maybe some zoomies🥰

Please Note** every breed is different. While the intro process remains the same, your grooming schedule could be different depending on coat, breed and cut**

Hello valued clients,

Due to the weather warnings, and after much deliberation; we have decided to close tomorrow. We will be open again on December 27th.

Please know, this decision did not come easily. We know so many of you were looking forward to having your pups looking their best for Santa. If you've been contacted to move your appointment, we will absolutely still offer you our Holiday Package🎁

Meet Jessica!

Jess is currently a dog bather for Megan but will be attending school in the new year to become a full groomer.

"I have always wanted to have a career involving animals or hairstyling and grooming put those two together for me!"

Jess has always had dogs growing up from big too small. She currently has a cocker spaniel, Abby who you may have seen greeting you at the shop some days, and a bloodhound named Tod. Jess hopes to add a Bernese Mountain dog to her crew as she loves the breed and misses having her own. Along with Bernese Mountain dogs, she also enjoys retrievers, hounds, spaniels, and basically anything fluffy!

Meet Jenna

Jenna was originally training to become a chef but something was missing. Turns out...it was dogs!

Jenna graduated Fluffy Paws Grooming School in 2019 and started part time at Grüm when they were first opening. She then started as a full-time bather for Megan and has since been grooming on her own since 2021. Jenna is currently working towards her First aid certification and is a member of the Ontario Dog Groomers Association (ODGA) and will continue to attend seminars and courses to further her skills. Jenna has a soft spot for the big hairy beasts such as Huskies and Shepards being the owner of one herself!
