Dogs just wanna have fun! 🎵

Some nailed it. Some missed completely. Some weren’t quite sure where the treat went... and we loved every second of it. 😂🐾

At Black Walnut, enrichment comes in all forms, from sniffing games and adventures to simple moments that get tails wagging and minds engaged. Today’s challenge? Catch the treat before it hits the ground!

Activities like this do more than make us laugh, they help dogs stay mentally stimulated, build focus and coordination, boost confidence, and provide a fun way to practice problem solving skills. Keeping dogs engaged with enrichment helps support their overall well being and makes daycare even more rewarding.

Enrichment is so much more than just keeping dogs busy… it’s about helping them use their natural instincts in healthy, positive, and rewarding ways.

Just like people, dogs need mental stimulation too! 🧠🐶

✨ A little sneak peek of what’s growing at Black Walnut… 🌿🐾

The buttercups are out, the mountain views are showing off, and apparently the dogs are currently living their Little House on the Prairie dreams out in the fields 🌼🐶

We’ve been quietly working behind the scenes on expanding parts of the property for even more outdoor exercise and enrichment space for the dogs.

More mountain views.
More space to explore.
More fresh country air.
And a whole lot more adventure

And honestly… we can’t wait to share it with all of you.

Watching Black Walnut continue to grow has been such an exciting experience, and we’re so grateful to have all of you along for the journey 💛
