Keep you dog calm for two weeks said the Vet. Not so easy when your dog is a blue heeler.
We are now on day 5 of 7 for meditation for his eye (thanks to an altercation with a muskrat). Didjeri has had a cone on to keep him from scratching at the stitches but today he drew a line and said no more.
It started when he went out to the pen with the calves, something he does all the time, only this time the calves were terrified by the cone headed monster. They took off running… fun games…Didjeri took off after them in a great game of follow the leader🤪
At some point the calves decided to turn the tables and chase him, again a really fun game until the cattle dog tries to run through the arena rails, like he has done so many times before. Only this time the cone is wider than the rails on the fence. The end result was Didjeri on the ground, 4 or 5 calves standing over him giving him a calf lick bath and a broken cone (which Didjeri thought was stupid in the first place😂)
