We are qualified as an expert in court proceedings in both Canada and the United States, work closely with several of the major insurance companies in both the U.S. and Canada on livestock death-claim reimbursements and fraud investigation, have completed appraisals for multi-million-dollar estate and insurance settlements, tax audits, divorce disputes, and have performed appraisals for multi-million dollar hog, poultry, dairy and beef operations. Daventry Appraisal Services is also known in the industry as the go-to appraiser for obscure and exotic animals. Appraiser Tracy Dopko had a great time judging the Hope Haven Spring Invitational, a horse show specifically designed for equestrians with disabilities and Special Olympics equestrian athletes in Canada. They had a record number of entries for their first show of 2026! Congratulations to all of the competitors!

Daventry Appraisal Services is proud to announce that Tracy's husband, Timothy Allen, has earned his Accredited Appraiser designation with the International Society of Appraisers (ISA).

The ISA is considered the leading professional organization for personal property appraisers, representing the most highly trained and rigorously tested independent appraisers worldwide. ISA appraisers are required to take a Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) course every 2 years and are subject to a mandatory requalification process every 5 years, which includes completing a requalification course, submitting an appraisal report for review, and earning a minimum of 75 hours of professional development credits.

Following a confirmed finding of New World screwworm in a calf in Texas, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced today that it will implement temporary import restrictions on livestock, including horses, from entering Canada from affected areas.

It doesn't get more beautiful than this! Appraiser Tracy Dopko had a wonderful time officiating at the EC Dance in the Vineyard Dressage Festival in Kelowna, British Columbia, over the weekend. The weather held out, ensuring a lovely event.
