Happy 2nd Birthday to my Eminem Litter šŸŽµšŸŽ¤. We celebrated Reviveā€™s birthday with spending the whole wknd at K9WavešŸŒŠ Regional Dock Diving Event.

Revive came home with a Gold in LowTide Ramp Chinook Division and Silver in TidalWave Whirlwind Division.

In less then a week Quintus has found a purpose and is already excelling with his trainer Joan. Heā€™s drivey and thrives when given a job. This boy just wants to work!

Heā€™s no couch potato and we will be looking specifically for a home able to provide him with an outlet. Sport home would be ideal šŸ¾

The end of May brought Quintus back home. It hasnā€™t been an easy road. Heā€™s needed time to decompress, settle in, and figure out his place within our pack.

Then tragedy struck our family at the beginning of July. Since then, Iā€™ve been struggling to balance Quintusā€™ rehabilitation needs with everything else life has thrown at us. I started feeling like I was failing himā€¦ and thatā€™s a very difficult thing for me to admit.

Iā€™m fiercely independent and hate relying on others. Quintus is my responsibility. I brought him into this world, and as a breeder, I will always work hard to be someone who provides lifelong support to every Amarantine dog and the families who own them.

Sometimes, though, doing whatā€™s best for your dog means recognizing when someone else can help.

Thatā€™s where Joan from Redeemed K9 in Saskatoon comes in.

Yesterday, I dropped Quintus off for a board-and-train program. Joan is going to help put the missing pieces in place and give him the consistency, structure, and guidance that I havenā€™t been able to provide while navigating everything thatā€™s happened these past few weeks.

This isnā€™t giving upā€”itā€™s doing whatā€™s best for Quintus.

I canā€™t wait to watch him grow, gain confidence, and come home with the tools we both need to succeed. Thank you, Joan, for helping my boy become the very best version of himself.

Baby Reflect learning how to swim, heā€™s still unsure if this will be his sport lol. You can usually find our black hippo wadding in any water soure on the farmā€¦ Valor thought pool water was much to clean for her lol
We will continue to build their confidence with water, whether or not they become dock diving fanatics itā€™s still a great learning experience for them.
