The Dog Lodge has partnered with Rose Hill Whipped Tallow to offer a New Product for the Summer!

We don't typically do retail, but this is a product we often use at The Dog Lodge for our guests - for pups that have played too hard, have tender or worn out pads on their paws, scuff up their noses on the fence, or just need some pampering 😉

We couldn't find a local source for the product, so we are very happy Cathy was willing to help us out and get something natural and safe for our fur babies!

We don't run retail hours but during drop off or pick up would be happy to send some home with you to try for your own Furry Loved One!

Good Morning, Dog Lodge Fam!

A note for all our wonderful clients that we updated our booking policy in December - we currently only accept booking requests for up to 3 months in advance!

That means that we are currently booking to the end of June right now!

Our July books will open up on April 1st!

This post comes with some important information about a 🚨POLICY UPDATE🚨

Effective December 1st, 2025 we are now implementing a policy that requires a 50% deposit at time of booking for stays over any major holidays, beginning with Christmas & New years 2025!
The deposit may be refunded If at least 10 days notice is given for a cancellation

This policy will stay in place for all major holidays into 2026 including
February break
Easter break
May long weekend
July long weekend
August long weekend
Labour Day long weekend
(You get the idea)

We have also added to this policy that we will only take bookings 3 months in advance!
That means we are currently booking to the end of February but are not taking any March Booking Requests at this time!

*if you’ve already booked in for a trip In March/April and beyond - ALL prior bookings WILL BE HONOURED and you do not have to re-book!*

We do this purely out of the desire to help as many clients as possible!
When looking at our Christmas schedule, seeing all the dogs booked in and knowing how long our wait list was, we wanted to ensure we didn’t get caught with rooms left open (as we had happen last year) knowing we could have helped our families and pups with accommodations!

We took the time to notify anyone who is currently booked over Christmas and new years to make sure they were aware of the policy change BEFORE it came into place, and tried to also be in touch with a handful of our regular dog lodge clients via text, but this family has grown to the point that I’m bound to miss SOMEONE!

So, if you’ve taken the time to read all this way, Thank you! We appreciate you!
