🎉🐾 Happy 1st Birthday to Hazel’s 13 beautiful puppies! 🐾🎉

One year ago today, Sept 10 2024, we had the incredible joy of helping these little angels into the world. 💕 Watching them grow has been such a gift, and Hazelnut proved to be our best mama yet – so loving, patient, and devoted.

On Monday morning, our sweet 13-year-old Daisy gave us quite a scare. She suddenly developed a head tilt and severe balance issues. At first, we kept her comfortable and started medication while waiting for the vet appointment.
The vet confirmed that Daisy has vestibular disease, caused by a deep inner ear infection that unfortunately ruptured her eardrums. Unlike outer ear infections, these don’t always show obvious signs—no heat, no discharge—so you often don’t know until the balance issues suddenly appear.
Since then, we’ve been carefully monitoring her, starting her on antibiotics, steroids, and gentle ear cleanses. Yesterday was tough, but today we’re breathing a sigh of relief—she’s showing real improvement and is on the road to recovery. 💕
And in true Daisy style… she hasn’t stopped wagging her tail through it all. 🐕✨ Her spirit is unshakable.
I’m sharing this update, along with some pics and videos from the past few days, so others can recognize the signs if their pup ever experiences something similar. Knowledge really can make a difference.
We’re so grateful for the love, prayers, and support—Daisy is one tough girl, and we’re hopeful she’ll be back to herself soon. 🐾❤️
