Bunnies are NOT outdoor pets! 🚫🌳 Domestic rabbits belong indoors, where they are safe from predators, harsh NE weather, traffic, and parasites. They need bunny-proofed homes, 4+ hours of daily exercise, and a spacious living area—not a hutch in the yard. Sadly, too many bunnies are dumped outside when people realize how much care they need. 💔 This Easter, choose a plush bunny instead! Plush is Enough. 🧸💜

Esker, pictured here, was abandoned in the woods just before her 1st birthday. An unwanted pet dumped after she was no longer wanted. Do your research and do not impulse buy a bunny! Esker will be spayed after her treatment for fleas/ticks - soon, she will be ready to find a furever home

Urgent foster or adopter needed!
We have five beautiful female bunnies in need of a new foster or adopter as soon as possible. They are in urgent need of a safe and loving environment where they can thrive. If you have experience with rabbits and space in your heart and home, please reach out!

Parksville

Please note these bunnies are not in our care but we can connect you if you’re interested in adopting one or both of them!

We met the sweetest little boys at their foster home in Parksville last week. They were born under the family’s front steps in a snow storm and one by one, their siblings were being taken by a hawk. 😢
This wonderful family decided to step in and take the remaining two babies into their home for safety. They have been hand-raised, enjoy being around children and will come running to the shaking of a treat bag!

Happy New Year from Frankie’s Farm!
2025 has already been interesting. Rascal and Bandit, a pair of bonded female ferrets, came into our care and we couldn’t be happier to give them a chance at their best life 🩷.

Also dr Veronica at shamrock animal hospital. Thank you for all you did for jordie and all of our bunnies. We are so lucky to have the support we do!

Thank you for all your support and caring words about Jordie. Amy's Bunny Barn Society reached out and offered to take Jordie into their care and pay for all of his medical needs including upcoming surgery. Although we are very sad to see him go, we know that he will be well cared for and he will have all his medical needs met. Jordie will be staying with Janet, one of ABB’s amazing fosters who is very experienced with tripod bunnies.

for giving Jordie the best chance at a long, happy life. 🩷
