Sally's House/Pet Sitting - Campbell River I'm an insured and bonded female offering pet/house sitting in your home. I am Dogsafe Canine First Aid Certified. I love animals. I missed my dog.

I will take care of your home and your pets as if they were my own, including collecting mail, watering plants, and walking your dogs. I have grown up with animals around me nearly all my life. I’ve had cats, dogs, pet chicken, goat, sheep, cows, horses and pot-bellied pigs. In 2012, I had my 15 yr old pug put to sleep. I had owned her since she was 2. I moved into a condo, and couldn’t have pets.

I started house/dog sitting for one of my cleaning customers, and then met someone else and sat for them, and so on. The word has spread, my pet/house sitting clientele has expanded. I love taking care of your fur babies. It helps me to get my pet fix. You can trust that I will care for your babies and house with all my heart. On 11th November, alongside the remembrance of fallen soldiers, we also honour the millions of animals who served and suffered in wars. Horses, mules, dogs, cats, and pigeons played vital roles in transport, communication, and detection, often working in extreme and dangerous conditions. Many never returned, dying from injuries, exhaustion, or the harsh realities of battlefields. Today, their service is remembered through memorials such as the Animals in War Memorial in London, inscribed with the words “They had no choice.” Purple poppies are worn to commemorate their sacrifice, reminding us that animals, too, were victims of human conflict and deserve to be remembered with compassion and respect. 💜
