Hans and Chewie have been waiting 3 long years to be adopted. They are bonded brothers who must be adopted together and are indoor cats. They are shy and take time to get used to people but are very sweet. They are looking for a quiet adult home with patient people to love them. If that's you please apply!

Thank you to Miss Dixie's foundation for the much needed dog food donation! Some of it was already delivered to dogs in need before we took this picture. Part of our mission as a rescue is to help low income families keep their pets when in loving homes by providing pet food, supplies and vet care when we can. We meet a lot of kind people just down on their luck and their animals mean everything to them. This is one way to keep more animals out of shelters. We also help people with other supports and people food when situations arise and we have the resources. No donation goes to waste and our goal is to improve the lives of animals and the people who love them as much as we can.

RIP Colby. Sadly Colby didn't respond to treatment and the vet recommended we end his suffering. We are heartbroken as he was so young but glad that he had a loving foster home the last few years instead of being out on the street. Thank you to everyone who donated to help Colby and thank you to his foster family for taking such good care of him.

Please help us help Colby. He had an emergency vet visit tonight and will be heading to our regular vet tomorrow needing several tests and IV fluids. Costs add up fast and any amount helps us help him. Little Winnie didn't even make it on the website before she was adopted to a wonderful family in Cambridge where she will have 2 little boys to keep her busy and 2 feline friends. Happy life Winnie!
