I have some super exciting news to share! I am growing my business, with adding a second, satellite store, in Oakridge! Right beside the Co-Op! I’m really proud to be working with a grocery store who has no pet supplies and wanted Pet Planet specifically in there.

Timing is a funny thing, I didn’t expect nor necessarily want to do this with a 6 month old but it was a very good opportunity that I didn’t want to miss.

It’s not an easy feat being a new mom of 3, and running two stores. I am so immensely grateful for the staff I’ve had and grown over the past 3 years who will be helping me manage this big career advancement.

Oakridge will be starting from the ground up. To say I’m nervous is an understatement, however there is a market in this area, there are a lot of needs to be met and one thing I know I’m good at is fulfilling that!
It is a lot smaller then Southwood, focusing more on delivery, and no grooming or self wash, you can head over to Southwood for our amazing grooming services 😊

Opening September 1, I will have lots more updates in the next 6 weeks. I’m hoping the community we have built in Southwood can help us share my new store with your friends and neighbours.

CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT ⭐️ Is there really anything better than having someone who cares about your pet just as much as you do? When I first met Biancha she was going above and beyond to make sure I was able to give Max the best life with simple diet and supplement options. 

Max was eating kibble - Pork Taiga, and had been on this for quite some time. In January I had noticed that he seemed skinnier, coat was looking dull, and he was constantly scratching. I booked him an appointment with our vet and also talked about it with our local Pet Store. That day we switched him to a raw diet Bold (Pork) and a supplement - liver tonic. When I went to the vet he was down 14lbs. 

Within 24hrs he broke out in a rash to his groin area that was bloody in spots with hair matting. We then switched him to Bold (Beef). Within a couple of days the redness went away.

Fast forward a month and a half Max gained weight fast. His energy levels went up, his coat was shinier than ever and he was no longer scratching! Without the help of Biancha and her team I would be at a loss for what to do for him or even where to start. Max is truly thriving and living his best life!
