Veterinary Tech Assistant

Fen Vet is looking for a Tech Assistant to join our Airdrie team. At Fen Vet, we do things differently, from our 7-star client experience to our collaborative, solutions-based approach to care. Our Tech Assistants play a vital role in supporting the veterinary team with hands-on patient care, organization, and keeping the clinic running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Assisting veterinarians and RVTs during appointments and procedures
* Handling, preparing, and comforting patients
* Helping maintain a clean, organized, and calm environment, even on busy days
* Supporting inventory, equipment, laundry, stocking, and overall clinic flow
* Helping the team deliver exceptional care to our patients and clients

* Are reliable, adaptable, and team-focused
* Take pride in being useful and noticing what needs to be done
* Want to grow your skills in a supportive, forward-thinking clinic

Schedule

* Full-time
* Flexible weekday schedule
* Weekend availability required
* Some evenings as needed

Compensation & Benefits

* Hourly rate starting at $21/hr, negotiable based on experience
* 3 weeks paid vacation
* 100% Sun Life health coverage, no employee contribution
* Personal pet and livestock supplies at cost
* Clothing allowance: 5 pairs of Figs scrubs and 1 pair of new shoes
