NEW! For our summer fun series, we are bringing you a super fun and often asked about introduction to stand up paddleboard (SUP) workshop!

This 1.75hr workshop is for those who have some experience paddleboarding, and want to start introducing their dog to the board.

In this in person session you will learn about gear & additional safety considerations for your dog, what cues you’ll need, how to get them comfortable with the board movement, working through distractions, body language and more! No board yet? No problem! We will have equipment for you to try (including a simulated board), and a SUP to practice with your dog on. Note that the majority of the first lesson will be on dry land. Homework PDF also included.

1 session total - 1.75hrs long (workshop format)
Maximum 5 students per session
$75 (GST included)

Upcoming Dates:
Sunday May 31st, 2026 @ 9:00am
Location: Carburn Park

**Note that as with all of our workshops, our focus is on the dog training portion (we are not human sports instructors). It is highly advised to have taken a SUP course and be comfortable with water safety prior to adding your dog in, and to ensure your dog is comfortable with swimming and around water first.**

Dawson & Casey fomo-ing hard today as they each had to wait their turn before their recall lesson! We can see why, because when we put them to the test, boy did they ever have FUN!! They were zooming!

Did you know we also do private consultations in-home for anything from basic manners to behaviour modification? And best of all, we don't charge extra for more than one dog 😄 so bring a friend, split the cost if you're working on the same thing, or better yet do like Dawson and Casey did and challenge your pal to a game of "see who's got the fastest recall"

Such a blast with these guys today!

Life Skills Reactivity - April graduates!!

Congrats to Pippin, Bjorn, Oreo and Moose for doing amazing in this class - everyone graduated to full movement exercises outside of their visual barriers by week 6!

I can say now with confidence that every single dog that has come through our classes has shown notable improvement from the first in class session to the last.
We structure this class in such a way to keep dogs below threshold, while slowly increasing their tolerance and coping skills - meaning that every dog feels safe before we make things more challenging. And of course, don't forget the importance of doing your homework 😉 because the class is practice for the real world.

Thank you everyone for your commitment to the course - it's not always easy, but it's worth it to improve your quality of life (and that of your dog). 💜

We also have our Level 2 outdoor drop ins, scheduled twice a month during spring and summer - sent out exclusively to our class & private training graduates. These are a great way to stay up on your skills and see how they work in real life. If you are interested, check out the link to our website in our bio for more information and to see what's being posted every month!

We've been busy behind the scenes, not so much on social media - but wanted to share these floofy boys!

I don't always share private training client photos because sometimes pet parents are truly struggling, and what they're working on can sometimes be something that isn't for the world to know. But these two have been working hard - one on reactivity on walks, and another at the window. While we often use similar training techniques, the plans can look different across dogs - based on the underlying motivation (fear, breed specific, frustration based, etc.). If you simply treat the behavior, you often miss the reason why it occurred in the first place - meaning your training might fall flat.
This is why reinforcement based training is so amazing, as it encourages a look at all aspects of the dog. Focus on simply stopping the behavior is only half the battle.

Thank you to my clients for keeping me busy in the background. We've had a variety of interesting cases come through lately and some wonderful dogs with very committed people behind them. Makes my job truly amazing and worth the while 🙏🏼
