This week we’ve worked on being calm in the vehicle together in preparation for our trips to the off leash park! Some of the pups don’t love sharing their personal space so I use the crates for those dogs to give them a bit more room. Halo is doing really well in the pack, I think he’s starting to like Sadie and choosing to be a bit closer to her.
Annie is also doing well with the steady pups Ozzie and Coco. She’s really starting to ignore them. This is good for when I add Zola into the mix in a few weeks. Allie and Zola relaxing in the van after their walk. Allie will be spending a week at our house soon and with these two girls, working on being calm in close proximity and ignoring each other is a really good plan to set them up for success when we go on our adventures.

The last couple weeks have been RUFF… cold temps, high windchill, shorter walks to keep the pups safe. I did manage to get a few pics and videos, in between freezing my fingers and the phone. Grateful for the chinook that blew in a couple days ago. Dogs have been good sports about the shorter walks and having to wear their coats but I’m sure they are happier with the milder temperatures. Annie has joined Ozzie for a walk in preparation for some small pack walks and did very well! The Dogmobile is fully operational and I think it’s a hit. Cali and Zola like that the crate gives them their own personal space.

Bo is really enjoying walking with Brittany and Ivy 💕; this week’s walks were cold despite the warmer temps.. that chinook wind is draining and I was happy for the weekend 😬. The dogs don’t seem to mind except maybe Cali and Zola haha

I’ve been blessed with pretty awesome clients and dogs since I started dog walking. Cooper and his family are no exception! Great people and a really great dog. I’ve gotten really busy in the city and can no longer get out to Cooper’s house for walks. He’s got a good walker lined up for the future but Zola and I will really miss him! Who else is Zola gonna eat grass/sticks and roll in the snow with??! 😩
