I kept him a bit fluffy in a 5/8 length with a shaggy doodle head (will relax and look shaggier in a couple days after the blow out settles)
He and I had a chat about not sneaking into the pond and getting messy😂 🤞

😲Did you know that poodles and doodles grow ear hair like old men? (Sorry guys 😂)

Yep! It’s true, sometimes all the way down the ear canal like a plug ‼️‼️
Ear plucking is a service offered at most grooming salons as an add on.

Some dogs need it to keep air flow through the ear canal and others are very sensitive and cannot have it done.
It’s always best to discuss it with your veterinarian first!🧑‍⚕️

He is a rottiedoodle.

It was his first groom today and he is a couple years old. Nervous is an understatement. 😰

We took our time, and after awhile he felt safe enough to eat all of the duck heart treats!
It was a lot for him to tolerate, so I opted to only towel dry and skip the blower today.

Kindness does count, and care carries into the next groom.
So I know his next visit, there will be trust and we have established a friendship.
