Easter weekend is upon us and thankfully a week of (mostly) dry weather means the parks are in great condition with very little mud! No standing water in any of the parks, and Ken’s Meadow’s seasonal lake has dried up (sorry to all those labs out there who love the splash pad!). The parks will be very busy this weekend with lots of visitors, so please remember to be courteous to other guests and stick to your booked time. It’s always a great idea to ensure you have the “occupied” gate lock secured around the gates while you’re in the parks for extra security. Happy Easter!

Looks like spring has sprung! Last week’s snow made things pretty messy but the warm weather has helped to start drying things out. Treed parks are still very muddy, and Ken’s Meadow’s seasonal lake is still present.

Ken’s Meadow, Enchanted Forest, Marjorie’s Meadow and Brent’s Woods are extremely muddy, so be prepared with rubber boots and lots of towels or a crate to transport your pup. Best bets right now are Roger’s Retreat, Field of Dreams or Adventure Land as they are the driest out of all the parks. Three Sisters is dry inside but the back area is still quite wet and muddy.

Parking areas have dried up nicely so please park in designated parking areas only. A reminder that the parking area on the west side of the building is RESERVED for staff members only.

We’ve been listening to your feedback, and after much consideration, we’ve decided to make a BIG change…

Introducing 🐶 PLAY ON LEASH! 🐶

That’s right—starting today, all dogs will now be required to remain fully leashed at all times while playing in our parks. No more zoomies, no more off-leash fun—just calm, controlled, structured leash time. We know how much dogs love the freedom of running, so we figured… why not try something totally different?

We’re even launching a new slogan: “Where a dog can… well, sort of be a dog!”

Excited? We thought so! Get ready for our upcoming events, including:
🐾 Tangled Leash Twister – A fun game of dogs weaving their humans into knots!
🐾 The Slow-Mo Fetch Challenge – Because running full speed is so last season.
🐾 Leash Limbo – How low can you go while staying securely tethered?

Update: It’s STILL Muddy!

Lots of mud still present in all parks! The warm weather has softened up a lot of the dirt and led to lots of mud in the parks. The seasonal pond in Ken’s Meadow continues to widen so if your pup loves water, now’s the chance to get them in the pond (and if you don’t like a wet pup, now’s the time to switch your booking!)

Mud, Mud and... Snow!

Lots of mud still present in all parks! Today’s snow will make things even muddier as the weather warms up and the snow melts. The seasonal pond in Ken’s Meadow continues to widen so if your pup loves water, now’s the chance to get them in the pond (and if you don’t like a wet pup, now’s the time to switch your booking!)

Well there might be snow on the ground today but our hours have returned to summer hours! Adventure Land and Field of Dreams are now open 8 am-7:30 pm, and we will continue to extend those hours as our daylight hours increase. All other parks are still open 5 am-10 pm! Guess what... it’s still muddy!

Most of the parks are still in very muddy condition as the melt continues! Especially in treed areas like Brent’s Woods, where the snow is slower to melt, there are a lot of soft spots and mud. Our seasonal lake has opened up in Ken’s Meadow as well, so if your pup is looking for a swim spot, consider checking it out!

The Three Sisters reopens tomorrow, March 3, but please be aware the outdoor space is also very muddy as well, so if your pup is using the outdoor area, you’ll want to bring some towels or a crate for transport so your vehicle doesn’t get muddy too!

We know your pups are loving this warm weather but our parking area by the south parks is not! If you have bookings in the south parks (Roger’s Retreat, Brent’s Woods, Marjorie’s Meadow or Field of Dreams), we are temporarily permitting clients to park along the road as the south parking lot has a lot of water in it, making it difficult to access at the moment! Parking for the north parks (Ken’s Meadow, Adventure Land and Enchanted Forest) are not affected. There is still a LOT of mud so be prepared with rubber boots and lots of towels or a crate to transport your pups!

🚨🐶 TEMPORARY CLOSURE ALERT! 🐶🚨

Heads up, pups! The Three Sisters indoor park will be temporarily closed from February 17 - March 2 due to maintenance and staffing conflicts. We know your pups will miss their indoor off-leash fun, but don’t worry—we’ll be back and better than ever soon!

The good news? Our 7 outdoor parks are still open for all the tail-wagging, zoomie-filled fun! We’re hoping for some warmer weather so your pups can fully enjoy their outdoor adventures. 🌞🐾

Thanks for your patience, and we’ll see you back for more indoor fun on March 3!

Our Story

Our kennels measure 4 feet wide and 10 feet long inside. Weather permitting your pet has an adjoining kennel out in the fresh air under the cover of a canopy. The walls dividing each kennel are solid which allows for privacy and quiet should your pet want a nap. The fronts of the kennels are chain link which allow full view of what’s going on all around! We keep your pet constantly engaged with direct human contact by rotating them outside constantly throughout the day. This allows your pet a chance to stretch their legs and sniff the post for the latest news at the Place 4 Paws! The kennels are disinfected daily. This makes for a healthy, clean environment for your pet. Each kennel is meticulously cleaned before you check in, so much so that we have had clients comment on how they would eat off the floor!
