Just wrapping up a few little things here in the enchanted forest, but I’m officially done with the majority of the project! There are still a couple little things I’ll be working on in here over the summer, but we are good to go, with bookings starting tomorrow! Thank you all so much for your patience while we took care of this project. While the landscape has changed in here with the removal of so many trees, it’s still beautiful and one of my favourites! You may notice lots of little sticks all over the park, just keep an eye out while walking around and you should be good to go. Now I’m off to the mower to play catch up with the grass! Hope you all have a great weekend!

Back at it after the wind and rain! Making pretty good progress and thinking the enchanted forest will be open soon, just a few more safety precautions and final touches to make sure the park is as good as possible!

Here they are! The new faces of ! We had SUCH a hard time choosing our winners of the ! There were so many incredible photos to choose from! Don’t feel bad if your pup didn’t make it because they are all winners to us!!! We hope to have the signage refresh done in the next couple of weeks so stay tuned for the big reveal!

A quick look back on the progress I made this past week on enchanted forest and while there’s still more work to do, I’m happy with how it’s going. At times like these I’m reminded of what my grandma always told me “anything worth doing, is worth doing right!” I’ll keep you posted as progress continues!

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to complete the clean up today, I was really hoping that could wrap this up for the weekend, but looks like the heat got the better of me today! I’ll keep at it and hope to wrap this up early next week, but I’ll keep everyone posted on the progress! A couple points of good news though, the canopy, while severely reduced, still offers quite a nice bit of shade in certain areas which is a nice surprise! Secondly after a week of crawling around in the grass and brush, I haven’t seen a single tick, not that I’ve ever seen any on the property, but I do like to give a heads up every year. Thanks again for your patience, I was really hoping to be able to get this done this week, but I’ll keep working hard to get it done as soon as possible! Have a great weekend everyone!

Day 4 of the enchanted forest clean up is in the bag, all the smaller branches were mulched up and I think it looks really good! I’m going to push really hard tomorrow and wrap up this project in the hopes of reopening enchanted forest for the weekend, but I can’t make any promises yet as I’m not sure how long the the final stage of the clean up will take, but fingers crossed! Thank again for your patience!

Day 3 of the Enchanted Forest cleanup is well under way. Penny and I are currently sorting the logs from the branches so we can mulch the smaller stuff and then we’ll pull out the larger logs and who knows maybe we’ll start a firewood side hustle with the amount of wood we’ve been moving! Penny has been in her absolute glory these past few days with unlimited sticks, she’ll have a rude awakening when even back up, possibly next week!

More progress in the enchanted forest, most of the standing dead wood is down, making the park a much safer place! Now the clean up begins… wish me luck!
