As some of you are aware, my family is Colombian and from the area heavily impacted by the recent earthquake.
While we are incredibly grateful that our own family is safe, our hearts are with the communities facing tremendous hardship right now. We want to turn our gratitude into action. 🇨🇴
FOOD, PET & VET SUPPLY DRIVE – UNTIL THIS SATURDAY

We are focusing our efforts on collecting food and supplies for both families and their pets to transport to the ‘Toronto for Colombia’ relief effort this weekend. We are also gathering medical items for emergency veterinary teams on the ground.
🥫 WHAT WE ARE COLLECTING:
• Pet Supplies: Dog and cat food, along with new or lightly used leashes and collars.
• Emergency Veterinary Supplies: We are collecting items for the ‘Huella sin Frontera’ rescue mission to treat injured animals. They urgently need:
• Oral and injectable medications (including antibiotics, painkillers, anti-inflammatories, fever reducers, propofol, and tramadol)
• Flea and tick treatments, and dewormers
• Surgical supplies (sutures, gauze, wound care materials, disposable gloves and gowns, and transfusion bags)
• Orthopedic and general vet materials (plates, implants, and other surgical supplies)
• Aurora Drop-off: Place items in the donation bin on our porch. Or send me a DM and I will pick up
• Newmarket Drop-off: We have partnered with cafe andes to accept donations! You can drop off your contributions at their location at 16700 Bayview Ave
Hoy por ellos, mañana por nosotros.
Today for them, tomorrow for us.
Thank you for helping us support the place we also call home.
