Tomorrow, we will be closed in observance of Remembrance Day as we pause to honor and remember the brave soldiers — two-legged and four — who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. ❤️🐾

We encourage everyone to take a moment of silence at 11 a.m. to reflect and give thanks.
We’ll resume regular hours the following day.

Lest We Forget Our K9 Heroes

On Remembrance Day, November 11th, we pause to honor all who have served and sacrificed for our peace and freedom. This includes the four-legged heroes who have stood, and continue to stand, alongside their human partners.

From the front lines of conflict to the streets of our communities, Military Working Dogs (MWDs) and Police Service Dogs (PSDs) have made contributions that are truly invaluable:

Saving Lives: In war zones, MWDs sniff out explosives (IEDs) and weapons caches, scout for the enemy, and act as vital sentries. Their work saves countless human lives.

Protecting Our Communities: PSDs track missing persons, apprehend dangerous criminals, and detect narcotics and explosives, keeping our streets safe day in and day out.

Their service is intense, dangerous, and physically demanding, often leading to medical challenges in their retirement. They do not receive pensions, which is where Ned's Wish steps in.

Today, and every day, let us acknowledge the profound service and sacrifice of these valiant K9 warriors. They give their all—courageously and without question.

Lest we forget the heroes with paws.

One of our favourite parts of accepting pumpkins after Halloween is seeing everyone’s creativity! 🎃 Here are a few of the awesome carved pumpkins we received.

We can still accept pumpkins but they must be UNCARVED as the carved ones are beginning to rot.
