Fireworks, large gatherings, loud music, and increased activity can be stressful for many pets. A little preparation can go a long way in preventing accidents, escapes, and anxiety.

🐶 Pet Safety Tips for Independence Day:
✔️ Keep pets safely indoors during fireworks and celebrations.
✔️ Ensure collars and ID tags are secure and up to date.
✔️ Provide plenty of fresh water and a cool, comfortable place to rest.
✔️ Never leave pets unattended in vehicles.

The summer heat is here, and our furry friends need a little extra protection! 🌴🌞

Here are some important ways to keep your pets safe and comfortable:

💧 Always provide fresh, cool water
🌳 Ensure access to shade and cool resting areas
🐾 Avoid hot pavement that can burn sensitive paws
🚗 Never leave pets unattended in a vehicle, even for a few minutes
🌅 Walk and exercise during cooler morning or evening hours
🌡️ Watch for signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse

Remember: If the ground is too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for your pet’s paws!

Today we celebrate 5 amazing years of Larenzo being part of the Happy Pets family! 🎉🐾

Larenzo first joined Happy Pets as a high school student completing work experience, and from the very beginning it was clear that caring for animals was truly his passion. Over the years, he has grown from a Veterinary Assistant into also becoming cross-trained in grooming, always bringing dedication, patience, and compassion to every pet he meets.

His love for animals shines through in everything he does, and so many of our clients and patients have come to know and love him for his gentle and caring nature.

Larenzo, thank you for your hard work, loyalty, and the positive energy you bring to our team each day. We truly appreciate you and are grateful to have you as part of the Happy Pets family. 💙🐶🐱
