We are hiring!
In search of a reliable, detail-oriented individual between the ages of 18-25 years old that has a passion for working with animals to join our team. The job description includes but is not limited to:
• Assisting the veterinarian during appointments with taking patient history, vitals and providing restraint for patients.
• Assisting in surgery and preparing the OR, assisting with the nursing care of hospitalized animals.
• Filling prescriptions, performing in-house laboratory testing, venipuncture and medication administration.
• Front desk receptionist duties such as sales, filing, call backs, billing.
• Janitorial duties

Qualifications
• High School Diploma
• Must have experience working with animals
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be available to work full-time, on the weekends and after normal office hours on a rotational basis
• Must have a love for animals
• Must have critical thinking skills
• Must be willing to learn new skills
On the job training is available to a suitable candidate.

First aid kits for pets can be made easily with some items you may already have at home! Your Hurricane preparedness kit for your pets, should include a first aid kit and it should be kept in a watertight container in an easy to access area for fast access in the event of a minor medical emergency. Keep your veterinarians emergency numbers inside this kit for more in depth advice if the situation requires it. Being prepared is half the battle. 🌎🇧🇸

Did you know that your dogs and cats require vaccines once every year after they have completed their puppy and kitten shots? By keeping your fur babies current every year with their vaccines it will eliminate the worry of whether or not they are eligible for boarding at a facility that houses multiple animals during a hurricane. Educate yourself on the importance of the vaccines they receive. Keep records of your pets’ shots for quick reference in a watertight container. 🌎🇧🇸
