Welcome "Clementessa" (Tess) 6yr OTT true black thoroughbred mare.

She is a beautiful big roomy mare with Lonhro bloodlines on her sires side and Danehill lines on her dams side.
Tess is well educated off the track with the added bonus of an exceptionally quiet, sweet temprement.

Purchased with the intention of a broodmare (our search for another true black is over- do you know how many people call their "bay" horses "black" 🫣 - that muzzle is a dead giveaway!!)
However, if she is half as good as her videos under saddle show, she will also be bought back into work for low level comps.

Now time for her to spend some time in the paddock and and fatten up a bit

We love delivery days!!
Massive shout out to Matt Gobel Horse Transport once again for going above and beyond.
I contacted Matt on monday to try to get a horse on the following Thursday "bairnsdale run", nothing was too much trouble, he was full in the truck coming through Melbourne Wednesday night (to pick her up) so organised a float to get her, kept updated with photos and communication was exceptional.
A welcome post to introduce the new addition will come this afternoon.

This gorgeous boy had his first outside mare book in today for this breeding season ❤️
He has proven that he crosses nicely with thoroughbred mares and this combination is going to be, let just say... TALL! 🤭🤣

Massive shoutout to Brady Wilms Farrier Service for keeping my fur kids neat and tidy.
From the babies (having a bit of stranger danger) but quickly coming around with your kind, calm approach, through to a mare that had been put in the "too hard basket" previously needing ropes to have her feet trimmed, you handled them all with patience and understanding giving them all a stressfree trim and I am very greatfull, especially to find someone happy to trim the clydies (aka fluffies) 👌
