Over the next couple of weeks I have quite a few bookings for horses in and around the areas who are currently under 'advice' messages on the VicEmergency app.
As the situation changes so frequently and advice messages are updated regularly, I think the best thing to do will be take it day by day.
I will be in contact with anybody who has an appointment in those areas so we can decide on the best course of action.

Happy Anniversary to meeee!
Today marks 25 years since I obtained my qualification in Equine Myofunctional Therapy!

My journey in equine bodywork started when my beautiful TB was hit by a car whilst we were out riding. He sustained many injuries resulting in fractures, soft tissue injuries, lots of stitches, and a rehab period of approximately 12 months. Looking for something that would offer both relief and a bit of mental stimulation for him, I found an Equine Myofunctional Therapist and the Vets working on his case were blown away by how fast his body healed.
I felt like I had found my calling and enrolled myself in the course my Therapist had undertaken.
Back then, the course entailed 12 months of in person learning, so every second weekend I travelled over an hour to school. I then completed a 100 hour case study log book and finally received my qualification on December 12th, 2000.
The rest, as they say, is history!

I'm still in love with my job every bit as much now, as I was 25 years ago.
I still feel that wonder of excitement when a shift happens.
I still feel that sense of having made a difference to every horse I put my hands on.

Bloody hell I'm lucky!!
