It is unfortunate but due to lack of nominations for next weekend the executive have decided to cancel next weekends training and postpone the AGM until August.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience but look forward to a much better August.

Well July has come around very quickly.
Unfortunately we could not run the AGM last months due to the lack of numbers and the poor weather. We will try again in July.
Please nominate early for Geoff’s clinic so we can decide on one or two sessions early. We know it’s show month and the rodeo are on but we still offer a relaxed atmosphere at a very reasonable price.
Come and join us around the camp fire 😀👍

Our next working Eq weekend will be the 17th/18th May. Tara from Equine in Motion may be popping in to do a horse or two. If anyone else would like to have their horse have a session with Tara. Please comment on the post or send a pm.

Well that's a wrap for Easter working equitation weekend, what a great weekend it's been lots of.new riders checking out the club and good to see members returning for another year. Thank you to Chris Maudsley for all her coaching I'm sure everyone got something out of her wonderful experience. We joined up with the Cairns and District Trail Horse Club so some fun rides where also had, so we look forward to next month. Till then happy riding 😁

Our next weekend falls over the Easter weekend, we are going to do a combined weekend with the Cairns and district trail horse club as some of our members are also members of the trail club.
It will be a fun filled weekend as we have gained permission to ride the trails in the state forest. There will be a ride out each day with Saturday and Sundays rides being approximately 20Ks each.
Chris Maudsley will be available on Saturday morning to put people through a dressage test if they like.
Chris will also be available for private lessons, see attached add.
Join us for a fun filled weekend with our beautiful horses.

Our first weekend done and dusted, only a small turnout due to the weather last week. I couldn’t believe how the weather gods favoured us with perfect weather. No rain at all 👍😀
