Hunting season is also back in full swing!

Honeybee attended a pre season cub hunt as well as Opening Meet, safe to say she loves it!
I’ve unfortunately had to miss the last few weeks for various reasons but from here on I’ll hopefully be out every weekend

I’ve been slack at posting on here again but Honeybee has been busy working hard and is now having some well deserved time off

A few weeks ago we attended Harden Horse Trials. It was her first time staying away from home for a few days which she was not a fan of, but riding wise she did great! We were very unprepared and have a lot to work on but I’m excited to see what the future holds for us 💛

Berry Riding Club Hunter Trials yesterday with Honeybee

Honeybee’s first ever hunter trials and first time doing a cross country course, yet she was incredible!

One cheeky refusal in the showjumping which was honestly more my fault, otherwise clear, and then clear in the cross country

So proud of this girl and so excited to see what the future holds for us 💛

Bucket list item complete, we had so much fun at Wallaby Hill Extravaganza!

Dressed as Harley Quinn & The Joker, it really just made heart so full to be able to compete again with my special girl ❤️

It was incredibly foggy and we could hardly see 2 feet in front of us, but despite the terrible conditions my girl jumped so well! Unfortunately we had a mishap with one of the jumps and Magpie hurt her back leg so I pulled her up and immediately retired. It was devastating to not be able to finish our round, especially as we had gone clear at this point and only had a few jumps to go, but her safety comes first always.
I know I made the right call as she continued holding her leg up for the rest of the day, but she is doing my much better today thankfully

I’m very excited for the year ahead now that the best girl is back in action 🥰

Had the absolute best weekend away with the SHC crew!

It was a big few days and such a tough ride but it was so worth it to see the gorgeous Craig’s Hut in person!

I purchased Bobby sight unseen from the online auction. He is a great horse with awesome potential, but unfortunately he just isn’t the right horse for me at this point in time.

Bobby is a total sweetheart! We formed a bond super quickly and since then he follows me everywhere, he loves a cuddle.

He needs a lot more ridden work but with time and consistency I think he will make an amazing horse.

Bobby’s biggest vice is when it comes to floating. Since bringing him home I have not been able to take him out again. I have an angle load which he doesn’t like, I think he would go well on a straight load but I can’t say for certain. I was told he has been trucked before in the past without issues.

I love this horse a lot and it breaks my heart to have to move him on, but I thought I was buying a more established horse and I just don’t have the time he needs.

He will be the perfect project for the right person.
