Waiting for the next trim appointment for your horse? Noticed an area of the hoof that makes you go.... uh oh...

You can still stay on top of hoof hygiene and make simple changes to keep the hoof environment cleaner whilst awaiting your farrier appointment to open up and resect the cavity.

1. Pick the hoof and remove any dirt and debris.
2. Apply your hoof spray into the crack so it soaks in and deeply cleans
3. Hoof IX Liquid hoof minerals - squeeze directly to the into crevices.

Do we recommend stuffing the crevice at this stage? NO...
You will not reach to top of the area in the hoof where these hoof issues fester. Our protocol is always manage the best you can with cleaning and hoof hygiene whilst awaiting a resection. You can then get started with Beeswax Blue Balls smeared into the top of the resection to deflect any further moisture and debris from getting wedged "๐™ช๐™ฅ ๐™ฎ๐™– ' ๐™˜๐™ง๐™–๐™˜๐™ "
