Grooming days for Harry are hard but he really needed a groom today. He’s blind and deaf and gets a little stressed in the bath but I just make sure I have a hand on him so he doesn’t freak out and we use the little handheld dryer with a happy hoodie on to help him cope with that part. The clippers I just gently skim over his boney little body so it doesn’t hurt.

He looks a mess still after his groom but I bet he feels a lot better!

I’m so impressed with Nova 🤎 when I first started grooming her she was very nervous, she would tremble, shake and salivate the entire time. I worked out a few sessions in that she was afraid of the table height so I worked on her with the table low, I put anti anxiety diffusers in and sprayed the trailer with adaptil spray and over time she’s started to really show me a happier side of herself. She jumps into the trailer now, she comes up to me for a pat and cuddle, we don’t use the adaptil anymore and she’s even stopped salivating (as much!)

She’s still a little tense on the table but I get it - I’m afraid (like terrified) of heights too 💞

She’s too pretty to be so stressed 🌸 I just love grooming her ✂️ happy days ahead for us both now she’s learning to trust me

I’m sorry to get on my soap box and please know that I try hard to avoid having to make sure I don’t rant when I’m overwhelmed but this has been happening a fair bit since the privacy laws changing and affecting how reminder texts get sent to you. I’m on my second day this week where this issue has caused last minute changes to my days ultimately it cost me income and time and I know it’s no one’s intention, so please guys - check your spam folders I can’t stress this enough.

I rely heavily on this system and I know you guys do too. Ultimately ask me for your upcoming appointment list if you don’t have them.
