What a weekend! ✈️🐾❄️

This weekend Maverick and I made the trip across to Adelaide for the SA Winter International, and what a special trip it turned out to be.

Not only did we get to compete at one of Australia’s biggest shows, but we also got to catch up with two very special little Vallhunds from my first litter — Rocky and Savannah. Seeing them in person, happy, healthy and doing so well in the ring was something I’ll never forget.

The results across the three days were simply incredible.

Watching Rocky and Savannah continue to mature and succeed under their wonderful owners has been incredibly rewarding. As a breeder, there is nothing quite like seeing puppies from your first litter not only enjoying themselves but also proving their quality in the ring.

A huge congratulations to Royce, Kat and Sam. Thank you for believing in my little breeding program and for loving these dogs as much as I do. 💙💛

And to Maverick — the sire of this litter — thank you for once again showing everyone what a special dog you are. To stand alongside your children and watch them shine was something truly special. 🧡

What can I say… 🥹

Yesterday I received the most amazing news — not one, but two babies from my foundation litter gained their Australian Championship titles at just 7 months and 10 days old.

I honestly cannot explain how honoured and privileged I feel. To have their owners take a chance on me and my new breeding program means more than words can say.

I also want to give a heartfelt thank you to my mentors and biggest supporters, Alexandra Proudfoot and Andy Lawrie. I have learned so much over the past year, and I truly could not have done it without them — especially Alex, who I’m fairly sure I’ve driven crazy more than once. 🤪

These little ones still have such long and exciting careers ahead of them, and I cannot wait to continue being part of their journey.

This weekend, we WA people officially kicked off our show year, and it couldn’t have started any better.

It was our baby’s very first appearance 🩷
🩷 LUHUND FORTH WING 🩷
and she absolutely smashed it!

On Saturday night she took out Baby Puppy in Group 🤩
She took both Friday and Saturday nights in her stride — a little unsure at first, but she showed her little butt off and impressed everyone.

Then I received the most exciting messages…
💙 LUHUND IRON FLAME 💙 didn’t just win one Baby Puppy in Show — he took out all three!
Massive congratulations to Rocky and Royce on an incredible result.
