A big thank you to everyone who has already taken the time to complete the Workforce & Training Survey 2026. We’ve had a great response so far, which is fantastic to see.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has taken the time to complete the DGAWA survey so far.

The response has been overwhelming, and we are genuinely grateful for the honesty, thought, care, and constructive feedback that has been shared.

DGAWA is currently analysing all survey responses, and every piece of feedback is being considered with gratitude and with a focus on how we can turn ideas into meaningful action.

We know there is work to do. We also know that rebuilding trust, strengthening our structure, and reshaping DGAWA into the best version of itself will take listening, transparency, and commitment.

This reset is about creating an association that is useful, inclusive, groomer-led, financially sustainable, and genuinely valuable to the WA grooming community.

DGAWA Is Entering a New Chapter

The Dog Groomers Association of Western Australia is currently reviewing its structure, constitution, membership options, fees, benefits, and future direction.

We know DGAWA needs to rebuild trust, strengthen its purpose, and better support the grooming industry across WA. This is more than a small update. It is a full reset focused on transparency, professionalism, education, member value, and stronger industry representation.

As part of this process, we would love to hear from groomers, students, salon owners, mobile groomers, educators, suppliers, sharpeners, wholesalers, distributors, and pet owners.

We have created an anonymous survey so you can share your honest thoughts, ideas, concerns, and suggestions.
