There’s something special about gear that actually feels like it belongs to you: not just another mass-produced import from a mystery factory. 🌵

Our cactus keyrings have been a real favorite in the workshop lately. They're built from honest-to-goodness full-grain leather that only gets better with age, but what really sets them apart is the personal touch.

Ever noticed how a busy workshop has a rhythm all its own?

There’s something honest-to-goodness about the sounds of the trade. The steady thud of the mallet hitting a hole punch, the sharp click of the shears, and that distinct 'zip' of the waxed thread pulling through the leather. It’s the sound of gear being built to last right here in Wagga Wagga, far away from the noise and rush of mass-produced imports.

To us, those sounds mean another piece of quality leather is about to head out to a new home. No mystery materials here: just full-grain leather and solid brass hardware being worked into shape by hand at the bench.

Fancy a day on the tools in Temora?

We’re heading over to Diamonds and Dust on Saturday, March 28th for a proper Heritage Leather Craft Workshop. It’s a hands-on session where you’ll learn the basics of the trade and walk away with a full set of gear you’ve made yourself.

Throughout the day, we’ll cover skills like cross-stitching, riveting, dyeing, and edge burnishing. You’ll be crafting:
- A sturdy stubby holder
- A valet tray for your keys
- A set of coasters
- Leather keyrings

It’s $219 for the day, which includes all your premium materials and tools. Whether you’re looking to start a new hobby or just want a crack at making something durable with your own two hands, we’d love to have you along. Fancy a night out in Wagga that’s a bit different from the usual?

We’re hosting a Leather Valet Tray and Keyrings Night Session at Riverina Community College, and we’d love to see you there. It’s a great way to spend a Tuesday evening: very relaxed, no pressure, and absolutely no prior experience is needed.

You’ll get to craft your own full-grain leather valet tray (perfect for those keys and coins that always seem to wander off) and a couple of keyrings. Everything is provided, so you just need to show up and enjoy the process of working with premium leather.

We’ve all been there, lured in by a cheap import only to have it end up in the bin way too soon. At our Wagga workshop, we do things a bit differently. Our belts aren't mass-produced or made from mystery materials.
