I thought I'd take the opportunity to answer a few of our most frequently asked questions;

❓ Can you invoice me or my business?

Absolutely!

If you'd like an invoice, simply let me know when you enquire or book and provide the best email address to send it to.

A friendly reminder that invoices are still due for payment on the date of service. If your business operates on a payment run schedule, please let me know in advance so I can arrange invoicing accordingly.

❓ Are you insured?

We sure are!

We hold Public Liability Insurance and all the necessary business insurances required to operate professionally and responsibly, giving both you and us peace of mind.

❓ Why is your hourly rate so high?

This is probably the question I get asked the most!

While $82.50 per hour can sound like a lot at first glance, it's important to remember that running a business involves much more than the time spent cleaning.

From that rate, I cover:
🧼 Products and equipment
🚗 Travel expenses
💰 Staff wages and superannuation
📋 Insurance
🏛️ GST and taxes
📚 Administration and business costs

The reality is that the amount left over as income is much less than most people expect—and often less than what my staff receive per hour.

I always do my best to keep our pricing affordable while maintaining the high-quality service, reliability, and attention to detail that our clients have come to expect.

✨ Another Milestone Reached ✨

Today, Multitasking Mum has reached a significant business milestone — I've officially hit the point where I must register for GST.

To be completely honest, it's a little scary and overwhelming. With growth comes new responsibilities, new challenges, and a lot of learning. But it also means this little business is continuing to grow, and for that I am incredibly grateful.

Unfortunately, GST registration means there will be a rate increase to reflect this additional charge moving forward. I understand that any increase can impact household budgets, and I never take that lightly.

If these changes make your current service difficult to maintain, I would love to have an open conversation with you. Where possible, I'd much rather adjust service frequency, inclusions, or cleaning priorities than lose you as a valued client altogether. Of course, I also completely respect that you may need to make a decision that works best for your circumstances.

Thank you to every single person who has supported Multitasking Mum along this journey. Your trust, recommendations, and ongoing support have helped make this milestone possible, and I genuinely couldn't have done it without you. ❤️
