I finished the week off with Bruno and Marley. Bruno has made lots of progress with dogs at a distance and dogs behind fences. We went for a walk and introduced the ‘look’ cue. The hardest part is his anticipation of seeing the dogs at certain houses and he will fixate, so we worked through how to manage this ☺️🐶🐾

Today was Graduation Day for Maggie, she has improved so much since our first session (imagine typical Adolescent jumping like a maniac and you have Maggie 😂). Her recall is going really well. Her lead walking is great, she cruised along having a sniff with minimal pulling. She still has her days, but over she is going great. We had a chat about food and had some fun with some tricks ☺️🐾🎓🐶

Then it was off to see Sunny and I originally met him as a little baby puppy! He is 6yo this year and can’t believe it! He is still a really social and happy dog. However he doesn’t really like dogs behind fences and the occasional dog he sees on lead. We introduced some skills and he proved he is a smart boy and picked up on the skills quickly ☺️🐾🐶

On Friday I met Bandit, he is a lovely Labradoodle that has landed on all four paws in his new home. The cool part about this story is, his humans were one of my first clients, many years ago. Their beautiful old boy has since passed and now they have come back, which is a great feeling. Bandit is a barker so we introduced the skills at home and next session we will work on the skills away from home 🐾🐶☺️

It was then Graduation for gorgeous Trevor. He does look a bit sad in the photo but he is a super awesome dog to train. He is so smart, he picks up in every skill so quickly. We continued working on lead skills and how to move away from distractions (birds in particular). We then worked on how to settle in a distracting environment so he can learn to sit at a cafe or in a park and watch the world go by 🐶🐾☺️🎓

Today I met Boba, yes just like the tea 🧋💙
He has had a rough time but has landed on all four paws in his new home. He has been struggling to settle and gets his crazy on in the home and he is quite reactive on lead. He is an absolute delight to train and it was wonderful to meet him 🐾🐶☺️

Lando’s tongue 😂😂😂 Bit of a tongue out Thursday kinda day. It’s been about a month since I have seen him. He started out really distracted but he settled into the walk. He had a run around the dog park which was super cute and we worked on some recall ☺️🐶🐾
