FOR SALE - 7yo 15.3hh WB X TB MARE “VIOLET”

Sire: Cooramin Hemingway (by Hohenstein). Great Olympic level dressage breeding.
Dam: Harkham Lass, eventing thoroughbred.

Violet has been brought on slow and steady and has been in and out of work for the past 3.5 years due to the owners time constraints. She has a solid foundation and is going really well in training with Cody Smith to gain confidence and milage. Violet has had exposure to flat work, pole work, rides in open paddocks, bush rides through creeks etc. She is great on trail rides with company or alone. Violet is going really well in her flat work, she loves being out and about in a group on trail rides, we think she would be best suited to a confident beginner onwards, she is very willing and well behaved. Coming off spells she doesn’t buck or bolt. She has lots of potential!
Violet thrives on routine and is happiest in consistent work.
Only vice is Violet likes to wind suck, this can be managed with electric fencing and does not effect her weight or performance

Not worried about traffic, live stock, dogs, machinery.

Up to date with dentistry, worming, hoof care and chiropractor.

Very reasonably priced, the owner just wants to find her a good, long term home.

Violet has came to me for education to gain confidence and exposure. She also had a rearing up habit.
She is going super well for being 2 weeks into her training. She is a lovely type and I’m excited to see her progress over the next couple of weeks.

Bar wedge pads for this thoroughbred yesterday to make him a lot more comfortable!
Under run heels, forequarter cracks and turned in feet, all showing signs of an uncomfortable hoof. As soon as his feet were done he was standing square and sound!

She’s going great with all the basic training,
Walk, trot, canter, stop, back up, ties up, float trained, pick up her feet and groundwork.

This is standard basic training for all horses
She’s also been out on bush tracks and the beach
