No Melbourne for us this week after a bit of an inconsistent season.

So this week was all about pampering the ponies! Both rising 3 year olds, getting ready to start some light work and learn all about the world.
Our beautiful home breed c**t Jasper (Clover Silver Moon) , by Celtic Basil is growing into an exceptional looking fella. This week has been feet, washing, rugs and learning about standing around all day.
Roy purchased from Elargee stud, continues to impress us having his first clip today, and a sneaky little ride by Heidi earlier in the week. A true child’s pony in the making.

A very wet weekend at Werribee Park for Geelong Showjump Club weekend of much needed rounds of showjumping. Rider most happy with Hunter stepping up to 75 and 85 rounds and DJ did rounds of 115,120,125. Hunter had a refit of saddles yesterday and definately needed a wider gullet and different saddle - thanks to Tracey Aitken from Aitkens Saddlery who has been our saddle fitter coming up 14 years. HORSELAND WANDIN 2026 - Fantastic to be back at this amazing venue. Thankyou to the owners,organisers and committee - cross country course was outstanding. Very happy with how both boys went this weekend. CS Hunter having his first horse trials since September. A green dressage test,followed by clear showjumping and x/c just adding some time to cross country. Super happy how this young horse is coming along and how level headed he remained at a big event. Highland DJ produced a lovely dressage test. Rider let him down in the showjumping just needing to trust the canter more and leave him alone as he knows the job.
