Millungeras Maverick in the senior horse cutout

Last minute I had to change horses this weekend, so I threw Millungeras Maverick on the gooseneck to substitute an injured horse. He certainly showed up. After running off the cutout we got third place for it. So incredibly proud of him. A huge thankyou to Robert and Sharon Lohse for allowing me to have the opportunity to campaign this beautiful gelding.

Over the weekend I traveled to Bangalow NSW for their Buckle Challenge.
I took my three year old HSH gelding Wannaroo Casanova and two year old ASH x QH filly Wannaroo Lethal Legacy. They both performed beautifully and had the best attitude towards their first competition.
I have high hopes for a bright future for these two young horses.

2025 Wrapped

As the year comes to a close, I’d like to take a moment to reflect and thank everyone who supported me throughout 2025. It has been a year full of growth, learning, and many memorable moments.

While I may not have come home with countless placings or prizes, I came home smiling every time — and that alone made the journey worthwhile.

This year marked a very special milestone as I began competing my beautiful four-year-old filly, whom I have handled, started, and trained entirely myself. It has been an incredibly rewarding journey and one I am very proud of.

I also had the opportunity to present two beautiful geldings, Wannaroo Whiskey and Wannaroo Charlie Brown, at the Toowoomba Nutrien Supreme Sale. These were my first sale horses, and I was proud to present them on behalf of my family. Whiskey sold for $6,000, while Charlie returned home with us and found his new home within 24 hours. Both are now thriving in their new environments.

Another highlight was starting my Lethal Return filly (Lethal Lena x Hollywood Return). She is progressing beautifully, and I’m incredibly excited about what the future holds for her.

I am also extremely grateful for my wonderful clients this year. Thank you to each and every one of you for trusting and supporting me on my horse training journey — without you, I wouldn’t be able to do what I love.

A huge thank you as well to my amazing family for your constant support, helping me with my horses, and letting me tag along to events. I truly couldn’t do this without you.

All in all, 2025 has been an amazing year, and I’m very excited for what 2026 has to bring.

Zig Zag, affectionately known as Ziggy, is a 16-year-old, 13.1hh gelding pony seeking his next home. A seasoned and reliable all-rounder, Ziggy has a wealth of experience and a calm, dependable nature.

He has been ridden by both children and adults across a range of abilities, from beginner through to advanced riders. Ziggy is best suited to a confident child or small adult but would also make a wonderful lead-line pony.

Ziggy has extensive exposure to various environments including pony club, trail rides, and off-property outings. He is well accustomed to dogs, bikes, machinery, and traffic, and remains composed and unflustered in busy surroundings.

He is straightforward to handle in all aspects — easy to float, trim, rug, clip, and hard tie. Ziggy is a good doer with low maintenance requirements and does not require hard feed. He can lead or be led from another horse with ease.

Ziggy would ideally suit a trail or pleasure riding home where his steady temperament and experience will be appreciated.
