Cute little Mopsey arrived with a group of other pups from the same property. This happy confident little angel was curious, confident and playful from the get go. After a visit to one of our generous groomers. We could finally see her gorgeous face and more importantly she could finally see too.

We were inundated with wonderful apps all wanting to adopt this precious Mopsey and it was a tough choice but came down to who would provide her the ideal home she needed.

Mopsey has found her forever home where she will be given the love, attention, care and guidance a new puppy needs. She has a new fur brother Ziggy, a wonderful adventurous garden to explore and an extensive family to spoil her.

Thank you to everyone who applied, supported and showed interest in her new journey. We wish her a lifetime of love, happiness and adventures ahead ✨🙏💖🥰

Bree is a 9kg mini Labradoodle with a gentle nature. Timid at first, but underneath that cautious exterior is a loving girl who needs time & patience to feel safe. Once Bree learns to trust, her personality begins to shine & she’ll greet you each morning with happy little bounces & excitement 😁

The world is still new to Bree, & she is bravely learning about all the things many dogs take for granted like car rides, dark rooms, busy parks, shops & street walks. With calm guidance, reassurance, Bree continues to grow in confidence every day.

Bree needs a female only, peaceful home where she can flourish at her own pace.

Bree has previously lived happily with other small dogs & would need to have a calm, confident canine companion by her side to help show her the ropes & continue building her confidence. She is a truly special little dog who will reward kindness & understanding with the most loyal love.

When majestic and regal Jack arrived into our care, he was nervous, stressed, constantly pacing and had spent most of his life used for breeding.

This funny, goofy, playful, definitely loving, very loyal, well-behaved gentle boy has found his forever unicorn family.

From the moment his new mum saw him with tears in her eyes she knew that she had found her boy. Precious Jack was going nowhere ✨💙

Jack will spend his days playing with his new fur brother and shadowing his new mum and family. His new life will be one big adventure, which he so deserves. We could not be happier for him and his new family 💖

Happy life beautiful boy, you deserve it!

ADOPTABLES | ☀️ Summer and Fergus 🐶

This adorable duo has been together since Summer was a baby and we hope they can find a forever home together. Sadly they were returned to NSDR due to allergies from the son of the new family.

Fergus (black) is a mature, wise and affectionate 7 year old male cavoodle x who weighs around 4kgs.
He is alert and very affectionate, always wanting to give cuddles and curl up on your lap. He loves his walks and meeting other dogs. He is happy to be left alone for a couple of hours, but he prefers not to be on his own for long periods. He does not have separation anxiety he just loves people and loves their company. He is confident, very chilled and very low maintenance, extremely well-mannered and loves his food.

Summer is a 5-year-old cavoodle who weighs 9kgs, she loves to play and craves attention and love. She is cheeky and very smart but will need some guidance with ongoing toilet training. She is low maintenance, well-mannered and has no separation anxiety from people but loves to be near Fergus. Both dogs love meeting people and other dogs.

🐶 Fergus 7 years, Summer 5 years - both are desexed and vaccinated and dental work all up to date
🐶 Both very cuddly and affectionate
🐶 They sleep peacefully all night
🐶 Fergus is toilet trained. Summer mostly.
🐶 Very well-mannered and both people and dog friendly

Brave, outgoing, and never intimidated by the big dogs in foster care, Ian won hearts everywhere he went.

Meet Pudding, a gorgeous 9 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

This sweet little gentleman has the calmest, softest nature. Pudding absolutely adores being close to his people and is happiest curled up beside you enjoying cuddles & all the love.

Being part of a loving family life is still quite new for Pudding, so he is continuing to build his confidence and learn that the world can be a safe and happy place. He will thrive in a calm, patient home where he can settle in at his own pace.

Pudding has lived with other small dogs and would happily share his home with a gentle canine companion. However, he would also be perfectly content as an only dog, provided he has plenty of affection, companionship, and time with his humans.

📌 Reminder about our adoption process for our new followers…

All our dogs that come into care are given time & space to decompress/settle into their foster homes.

Vet work, health checks and desexing etc needs to be completed. And our beautiful foster families will get to know them before we list them.

Please be patient with our carers who are all volunteers and care for our dogs while juggling family, work and lives. Please allow a couple of weeks for them to review applications when we list our dogs for adoption.

Unfortunatley, we do not have the volunteer resources to keep a waitlist!

Annie arrived yesterday and we’ve received many enquiries. We are currently NOT taking EOIs for her yet 🥰

Coco, our sweet & spunky boy, has found his forever home 🥥🩵

When Coco first arrived, he was in desperate need of some TLC. It didn’t take long for his deeply loving and happy-go-lucky spirit to shine through.

When Irene and Kris saw Coco’s photo, they were smitten. They knew they wanted to provide him with the best golden years, and his new life sounds like a total dream!

He’ll spend his days enjoying early morning strolls to the cafe, cuddling up on Irene’s lap whilst she does the crossword, finding a sunny spot to sit and listen to classical music and patrolling the garden for lizards ☕️🧩🎶🦎

$126,907.10 😳

Yep… that’s not a typo. This is officially a record for us.

April’s vet bill is insanely high because and .dogrescue took on many medical dogs - multiple puppies battling Parvo, older dogs that have seen neglect, dogs with injuries, dental disease, skin disease.

Rescue never stops - and neither do the bills.

Adoption fees alone are not enough to cover the support we give our dogs that come into care. Rescue can be a 🎢.... unpredictable and full of highs and lows.

As a registered non-profit rescue organisation, we rely 💯 on donations & adoption fees to continue doing the dog rescue work we do.

Times are tough for everyone and especially the rescue community. Without community support, we cannot continue saving lives at the rate we currently are.

Every share, donation, fundraiser, foster home, adoption and bit of support genuinely makes a difference.
