After 3 attempts at rescue Miss B has made her way to an amazing farm where she has settled in well with her other feathery friends.

Can't thank Kat and Kyle enough for taking on this sassy chicky B!!

Doesn't matter if it's feather or fur we like to make sure they get every opportunity to be settled and happy!

Today 6 out of 12 baby chicks were caught... hopefully in the coming week we can corner the rest and catch mum!

It was a solid effort by all as these little critters moved soooo fast and already started to fly! The house they had taken residence up with had beautiful full gardens with many many hiding places and this has already been 3 weeks in the catching!

It's one thing to surrender... we as teams stay non judgemental .... but to abandon your dog is illegal in NSW - if you can't care for them....do the right thing and surrender properly...they deserve more πŸΎπŸ’›

This was a really sad sight for staff to see early this morning when they arrived at work. This poor girl was left tied to a pole in our carpark (perhaps overnight). This is absolutely not ok. We will be checking our security surveillance for additional information.

Could the owner please contact our shelter on 5300 6000. We do not know the circumstances behind why this dog was abandoned (or by who) but if the owner is searching for this dog it is now in our care and they should contact us.

It is an offence to abandon an animal in NSW under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1979. Please DO NOT abandon animals.

Great Dane x neo mastiff - 20 weeks old - drive from Sydney to Grafton to rescue this girl. Heavily pregnant and throwing up the entire way but she was every bit worth it.

Covered in scars and having lived only in a garage she was so excited to have a new home to live
