Account 4545-02937 Operating since 2011, we are a co-operative of volunteer foster carers and passionate animal advocates, working together to achieve our shared vision. We have

a no-kill philosophy, with a focus on finding animals their forever homes through our Foster to Adopt Program. This program is key to our organisation’s success, as it rehabilitates our animals in preparation for their new life. We focus on:
- reducing the number of unwanted and abandoned animals through rehoming
community education
- desexing initiatives, and
- liaising with other welfare organisations

We do this with a direct purpose, which is working towards the introduction of new legislation to give greater protection to all animals. This also serves to provide further direction for other registered rescue organisations. Maggie’s Rescue cares for all our animals through our amazing network of foster carers. They provide a safe and nurturing home for animals in need until their forever home is found.

🎤🌎 Mr. Worldwide is ready for his next world tour... and he’s looking for a forever home! DALE! Built like a tank but convinced he’s a lap dog, this chunky superstar is equal parts goofball, cuddle expert and professional soft-toy collector. If there’s a toy to carry, a couch to nap on, or a snack to be eaten, Mr. Worldwide is ready to headline the event.

While he can be a little shy in new places, a few treats and some gentle pats quickly have him performing his greatest hits. And speaking of hits... food is definitely his number one chart-topper. Whether he’s proudly parading around with a soft toy or sunbaking like an international celebrity on holiday, he’s always entertaining.

After having one eye removed due to a medical issue, Mr. Worldwide hasn’t missed a beat. He lives life to the fullest, proving every day that he’s still got his eye on the prize: toys, treats and finding his perfect family.

This clever boy is equal parts athlete, adventurer and professional good dog. Whether he’s scaling obstacles, sprinting along the beach, swimming beside a kayak or launching himself into the nearest creek, Remco approaches life with enthusiasm and impeccable form.

But underneath all that athleticism is a thoughtful, sensitive soul.

Remco didn’t have much human contact during the first six months of his life, so trust is something he builds slowly and carefully. He may need a few meetings before he decides you’re one of his people, but once you’re in his circle, you’ll discover an incredibly loyal companion with so much love to give. 🤍

This week we're shining a spotlight on an incredibly special dog who has now spent over 250 days in care waiting for her forever family.

And honestly? We can't believe she's still here.

Granola is the kind of dog that quietly works her way into your heart. She's affectionate, clever, playful, loyal and absolutely adores her people. Whether she's exploring the world with her nose, learning new things, or curled up beside you for cuddles, she's simply a joy to have around.

Like many sensitive souls, Granola can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but give her a little patience and understanding and you'll discover a truly wonderful companion who is so worth the wait.

For 253 days, Granola has heard about all these other dogs pack their bags and head off to their forever homes.

For 253 days, she's been practicing her cuddles, perfecting her zoomies, working on her training skills and dreaming about the day someone chooses *her*.

We genuinely don't understand how this sweet girl is still waiting.

Meet Busby – the tiny cuddle bug with the world’s most magnificent ears! 🐾

This sweet Mini Foxy cross is searching for a calm, patient home where he can continue building his confidence at his own pace. Once he knows you’re his person, he’ll reward you with endless cuddles, loyal companionship, and plenty of cosy sleep-ins. Busby loves soft toys, playing fetch, learning tricks for treats, and quietly hanging out with his favourite humans. He’s a gentle little soul who’s making fantastic progress every day.

Busby is a clever cookie who’s already making amazing progress building his confidence. New people, busy places and walks can still feel a little scary, so he’s looking for someone who’ll cheer him on through all the little wins. And trust us… watching this sweet boy grow is incredibly rewarding. 🥹

Sanchez: “Hello, have you heard the good news about adopting me?” 🐶

Unfortunately, unlike the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Sanchez can’t keep coming back every Saturday until somebody answers the door.

And honestly, we’re running out of time.

Sanchez is STILL urgently looking for a foster home, and we can’t stress enough how important this is. Not only are we about to lose our current kennel facilities, but Sanchez really needs a calm home environment where he can continue practising the important life skills he’s been working so hard to learn.

This gorgeous boy has made so much progress, but kennel life can only take him so far. What he really needs are dog-savvy humans willing to work alongside us to build his confidence, continue his training, and help him become the very best version of Sanchez.

Behind the enthusiasm is a sweet, loving dog who is trying his absolute hardest and deserves the chance to succeed.

This gorgeous Wirehaired German Shorthaired Pointer is an intelligent, affectionate girl who is looking for a safe place to land while she waits for her forever family.

Marge is a wonderful dog, but she's looking for a foster home that understands her needs and can help set her up for success.

🏡 Marge Gunderson's Foster Dream Home:
• Experienced dog owners, ideally with German Shorthaired Pointers or similar working breeds
• No other pets for now (while Marge has tested well with some dogs, she has not enjoyed the company of others and would be best as an only dog at this stage)
• House with a secure yard
• Someone home more often than not, as Marge can be prone to separation anxiety
• A calm, consistent environment where she can settle and thrive
