Happy Adopter Tails | Trudy & Bluebell 🐾🩵
Trudy adopted Bluebell just two months ago — and it was love at first sight 🥰
“I had been thinking about getting an assistance dog, (I had a workplace injury 8 years ago in which I lost the use of my left arm) but I’m so glad I didn’t — because Bluebell gives me everything I need.
My previous dog, a Kelpie, was just too strong — even with a waist lead, I couldn’t manage her. But Bluebell is completely different. She just walks easily beside me — she’s so calm, not jumpy, and just fits into our world so naturally.”
“I didn’t know much about greyhounds before I reached out to GAP, and they matched me with the right greyhound for my situation. When Julia from the GAP team brought Bluebell around, I just said, ‘she can stay.’ It was love at first sight!”
“She’s brought a lot of joy into our lives — it’s those little everyday moments that make everything feel lighter. She’ll lie there with her tongue hanging out while I massage her paws — I even bought lanolin and give her little foot spas. She absolutely loves it.”
“She’s definitely a bit of a shoe 👞 hoarder — but we find it adorable! She can do no wrong. I’ve even joked about giving her her own bedroom.” 💕
