Oh, last week was horrendous. I had a procedure that absolutely knocked me off my feet and if it wasn’t for the doctors fixing me up quickly, it would have gone downhill super fast.

These are the swings and roundabouts when you run a business -the whole time I was just thinking, “I really want to go to the gala on Friday.” And I managed to get there. Sore, but there.

This week, now that’s all behind me, I’ve been planning about giving back to you guys and what that looks like 👀

Here’s the thing though - I don’t actually know what to base the competition on! I’ve got over $500 worth of collars and leads to give away and I want it to be good. Maybe even a bit hilarious.

So tell me - what do you think a good competition would look like? Drop your ideas in the comments and I might just steal the best one 😂🐾

I take time out of my business all the time. I never say no to a lunch, a walk, a coffee - genuinely, I don’t think I ever have. Why? Because making other people happy doesn’t make you happy. But you might get a little back in return.

And isn’t that the whole point?

Trying on THE dress for the SCBWN gala next Friday 👗✨ First fitting - no filter, no makeup, no hair done, and yes I forgot to shave so don’t hold that against me 😂

This time last year I was doing the exact same thing - except I was terrified. I had no idea what to expect walking in as a finalist. I ended up walking out with Micro Businesswoman of the Year and two finalist awards and I will never, ever forget how that night felt.

Making it to the finalist stage alone was special. I was genuinely just happy to be there.

If you didn’t put your hand up this year, take it as your sign for next year. Seriously - do it.

See you all there. And yes, I want to see your outfits too - tag me in your fit checks, I need to know what everyone’s wearing 👀

To everyone who applied this year, who’s grabbed a coffee with me to talk it through, who’s asked for advice - you put yourself out there and that’s the whole point. Put your best foot forward, enjoy the night and actually talk to the women around you. It’s what these nights are for.

The whole Pointadore GSP pack is about to be looking FLY 🐾✨

We just finished a huge order for our new breeder besties and let’s just say… the pack weighs triple what they ordered 👀 We may have snuck in a few extra surprises.

Hopefully they love them as much as we loved making them 🤍

The Pointadore collab is finally here 🐾
Cards are with Monica now - once she’s had a look, they’ll be heading straight into her puppy packs so every new Pointadore baby goes home with something special from day one.

Monica’s also getting access to our wholesale portal so she can browse and see if she wants to stock up whenever she needs to - because this isn’t a one-and-done, it’s an ongoing thing.

We have the most exciting partnership in the works with the incredible Monica at ✨

Monica and I spent over an hour on the phone this week just geeking out about what we can create for new GSP moms and dads - because bringing home a GSP puppy is such a special, chaotic, wonderful time and we want to make it even more memorable.

We’re talking discount codes, customized waterproof collars sized for tiny puppy necks (with a thicker band upgrade waiting for them when they become the big buff heads we know they’ll grow into 🐾), access to our wholesale Hooper Ruff products and SO much more still brewing.
